Located in Texas, Leslie has spent more than 30 years helping families experience the wonder of pregnancy through ultrasound. But for Leslie, this career isn't simply a profession, it's a calling established in love, faith, and an unwavering passion for motherhood.

Journey from Heartbreak to Purpose

Leslie's love for ultrasound began during her own pregnancy journey. Like so many moms, she remembers the awe of seeing her baby for the first time and hearing that tiny heartbeat. 

Heartbreak struck after losing her young son, and Leslie stepped away from nursing school to grieve before finding herself drawn back toward the dream she had. Nearly three years later, she became a sonographer.

"I wanted to make someone feel the way I felt that first time I saw my baby on the ultrasound monitor and heard the most beautiful sound of his heart beating."

Throughout her rainbow pregnancies, ultrasound scans were Leslie's way of connecting to her babies until she held them. While the future is never guaranteed, supporting and comforting moms in every stage of their pregnancy and parenthood journey is what fills Leslie's heart with joy.

A Studio Built for Families

One thing that immediately stands out about Baby Bump Imaging & More is Leslie's commitment to including fathers in the pregnancy experience.

"Dads work long hours and often miss so many milestones during pregnancy," Leslie explains. "I want them to experience every wiggle, every yawn, every smile, every kick, and every heartbeat."

This is why she offers flexible scheduling and evening appointments until 8 p.m., making it easier for fathers to be present during these precious moments.

For Leslie, ultrasound sessions aren't just appointments, they're family bonding experiences. The emotions shared when parents first see their baby move across the screen are memories she believes every family deserves to experience together.

Celebrating Every Milestone

Throughout her career, Leslie has witnessed countless milestones: first heartbeats, gender reveals, twins, triplets, rainbow babies, and joyful reunions when families return with their newborns after delivery.

One of her favorite traditions is sharing "From Bump to Baby" photos and watching families grow over the years.

Leslie holds a special place in her heart for rainbow baby families. She understands the mixture of hope, excitement, and fear that can accompany a new pregnancy after the loss of a child.

She loves watching siblings choose their favorite animals, grandparents hear the heartbeat for the first time, and parents leave with a keepsake that preserves one of the most meaningful sounds they'll ever hear.

"Every time they squeeze that cuddly animal, I hope it brings them back to that day."

Leslie isn't slowing down anytime soon. In addition to continuing to serve expectant families through Baby Bump Imaging & More, she will soon celebrate the grand opening of a Mommy & Me boutique inside her studio!
