We have been busy over here, working on our latest collection of Heartbeat Pillows, expanding our new line of magnetic frames, and designing a few new animals to add to your displays. The days seem to be flying by at record speed; somehow it is September already.

With no sign of time slowing down, we need to embrace and welcome the fall season with open arms (and lots of pumpkin spice). The moms who visit during this season are all about feeling cozy and soaking in the beginning of the holidays. For most, it can even be known as the season of shopping!

Ensure that your boutique is holiday ready by stocking up on specific keepsakes related to the holidays, football season, college mascots, and fall traditions. Don’t be afraid to think ahead, too. We may have several suggestions on preparing for Halloween, but some families may want to grab a heartbeat stocking or ornament!

Creating a Spook-tacular Boo-tique

Halloween is such a fun holiday to decorate for. You can take your fall-inspired displays and add just a touch of spook to them, or you can go all out with black cats, witches’ hats, bat wings, and giant spiders. 

Decide how big you want to go

You can transform your entire boutique for the occasion, using ‘floating’ witch hats, netted webs (to display Heartbeat Animals), and oversized spiders. However, you can simply create one designated area/corner that screams Halloween keepsakes.

Gender fun

Roll with the trick or treat theme by using candy to tally the girls vs. boys total!

If you really want to have some fun, offer a cauldron dry ice reveal. It’s not as hard as you think; simply set up an awesome photo wall with a complete magic theme. Have families drop in the mystery (pink or blue) potion to activate a gender reveal of smoke. Make sure you capture the moment to share on your social accounts.
