A tally board is a fun way to see the statistics roll in. You can decorate your board in any way that you please – cheerleaders and basketballs or bows and bowties! Step up the fun with a second tally board for guesses before parents find out the gender.

Rainbow of Love

It’s a great month to honor rainbow babies. Create a large rainbow for parents to add their rainbow baby’s name, gender, or nickname to! It will be a great photo opportunity and social media tag for your boutique.

Fishbowl Winnings

Clients can drop their baby name(s) into a fishbowl for the chance to win a fantastic prize! You can gift them a Heartbeat Animal, a donated gift card to the local baby boutique, even a spa day. Send out an email to invite recent visitors to come drop a name off, too. The more bodies that walk through the door, the more chances you have to make a sale in the boutique side of the business. (Make sure you are well-stocked and offer a 10-minute sneak peek session, where moms can just say hi to their baby and record a heartbeat quick!)

ABC’s

Hang an alphabet board on the wall, ask all the moms learning the gender, hiding the gender, hearing a heartbeat to add their top names to the list. They can add marks next to names that are doubled, etc. It’s a fun way to find the trends and see which names make it to the birth room!

Top Name List

Take the pressure off of a name reveal and let parents add or star their favorite names (even if they aren’t their #1 choice)! Add photos every few days to social media and tag your recent visitors to keep the conversation going.
