34 Songs for a Summer Birth PlayList

You may think that music is music, and that it doesn’t matter what season your baby is due, but you are wrong! Although, it is your birth – so, I guess I won’t judge whatever music selection you make. But if you are like me, then you may feel connected to the season you are birthing in, and with that comes the music that accompanies that season. Baby #5 is due in just a few weeks, and while I haven’t prepared much of anything, I have been thinking about the birth and the atmosphere that I would like during the birth. Music can play a huge role in labor no matter where you choose to birth. A hospital, birth center, or birth in your own home – all can be made peaceful and special by choosing a playlist that will make you feel happy and loved throughout labor. So, charge those Bluetooth speakers and pack them in your birth bag! All of my friends at My Baby's Heartbeat Bear have helped to compile an awesome list of song suggestions to be included in a summer birth, but of course, you can use them any time of the year! Some will tug at heart-strings, others will make you laugh, but all will help you push through labor to meet your baby.
