YUCK. It’s the time of winter crud being passed around like crayons at the school table. Even the little ones are susceptible. Viruses are everywhere right now, and the warm to cold temperatures outside are not helping.

Flying with children is much harder than flying solo, or with another adult. BUT, flying with little ones shouldn’t deter you from flying. Go ahead and book your tickets. I will help you plan your way to a (somewhat) peaceful experience.
A side note: Learn from my most recent overconfident mistake of not packing a second change of clothes for baby for the plane... Yep, poop... EVERYWHERE.
Go ahead and RSVP “Yes” to that party or gathering this season. While having a newborn is a great excuse to get out of getting dressed up and socializing, you don’t have to stay home if you don't want to.

More than 1/3rd of unplanned c-sections that occur in the United States are due to women “Failing to Progress” during their labor. This statistic is upsetting. My sanity is stretched, but my heart is full. My immediate reaction to the question “Can motherhood change you as a person?” was a resounding “YES.” Of course I am not the same person I was ten years ago, pre-children. But then I thought about it more. I slept on it, actually.
